Manlift Operator Certification Whitby - We offer an aerial lift and scissor platform certification and training to empower the trainee with the knowledge and general understanding of the efficient and safe operation of "Power Operated Mobile Work Platforms," in accordance to the existing regulations within the industry. Upon successful completion of training, the participants will be able to understand and know certain safety and health related hazards associated with using scissor and aerial lifts.
There are a variety of affiliated places in your district offering Manlift Operator Certification Programs. Trainees are provided with in-depth instruction on safe utilization and regulations along with extensive hands-on training. The knowledge and the level of skill of every individual training is evaluated and those who are capable of demonstrating a satisfactory level of operational competence would receive Operator Certification cards and employee documentation.
Theory Training
The trainer guides those training through an interactive and comprehensive review during the theory training. The operator workbook is studied that covers all applicable rules. Other topics like various equipment types including different sizes and associated applications, safe operating procedures, pre-use inspections and general work place safety are explored individually.
Theory Evaluation
The Theory Evaluation begins with a written test based upon the concepts included in the operator's reference instruction manual. These tests are graded and returned to the trainees. Afterward the exams are reviewed to guarantee understanding and a minimum score of 70 percent is required so as to pass this portion of the training.
Practical Training
The hands-on portion of the course is covered in the practical training. Here, those training are shown the safe operating procedures, the parking and shutdown measures and the pre-use inspection procedures. Every trainee has the chance to operate the machine and practice the skills they learned during Theory Training under the helpful eye of the program trainer in a setting that is safety controlled.
Practical Evaluation
The Practical Evaluation is where the trainees are assessed to assure they have reached a minimum level of skill. The ones training are then assessed on an individual basis using the equipment in a reasonably difficult course setting. Once the evaluation is complete, the trainees are de-briefed and given the opportunity to deal with whichever issues they might have regarding whichever part of the program. Each and every employer of a successful trainee will be given the official documents and records immediately after the program has been finished.
